These kind of threads really detract from the community and the game itself. Not amusing, only seem juvenile to me.

Agree 100%..

Dont think we are showing much regard or respect amongst ourselfs. This will only lead to the new players thinking this is the way to post a message. Lead by example.. Let show a better example for the new guys coming in, and a touch more respect for each other.

I'd like to apologize to SKVP for punting this topic after all. What seemed like a post meant in a friendly ribbing kind of way (I've know SKVP for...3 yrs now?) sure got ugly fast.

I am surprised at how few people really realize the true purpose of the "Whine of the Week". It is not intended to prevent or hinder anyone from expressing their ideas concerning game play or suggested improvements to the game. As I understand it, the sole purpose of the thread is to bring the level of cummunication on the BBS up a notch or two by pointing out in a humorous way how we tend to over react to events or problems we have reagarding the game.
