Btw Airborneplein is the junction at the top of the picture of the old bridge, the end of the road the bridge leads to.
Couldn't get a pic of across the bridge, closed to pedestrians due to some work going on.

"Polish Monument
Driel
The village of Driel is quite beautiful and worth a trip in its own right. If you make the effort to come, pause for a few minutes by the Polish Monument. The Poles parachuted into the area in extremely bad weather. The Germans expected them and heavy losses were sustained. The Polish Independent Parachute Brigade Group knew their help was vital to the allies at Oosterbeek, so they pressed on, again sustaining losses as they crossed the river. Only 200 made it across. The inscription on the monument reads: Surge Polonia (Poland will rise again)."

The Goose Nest Restaurant (Ganzeneste, ISTR) is in the better part of Rijswijk. It's between a tram track and a wide canal, near (next 'island' over from) the Shell offices. You could always ring them up and ask them.

The Shell offices? Ok it's walkable then.....I'm pretty close to Shell, unless there's multiple Shell offices in the vicinity anyway.
Nice one. Cheers qts, I'll give it a try.
