205 for loser that cannot shoot, thats why it has 10,000 rounds of cannon.

I never use more than 9,000 to get a kill.

205 is a really great plane. It looks cool and is average in everything. The prob is in a 1 vs 1 u dont really have a chance when ur opponent is one of the popular mainstream planes.

i have been flying c205 alot this month, so far 28/11 in it. Sure is fun in the vertical, rolls a heck of a lot better than a spit at speed.

Early in AH, the 205  was a well used plane at least by a few I flew with like Thunder. It does a lot of things well, and has a FWA8 like worth of ammo. Plus it's guns are easier to hit with compared to say, a Nik.

Because it’s flown so rarely now, I assume because of the addition of so many planes since then, the influx of new players either discount it, don't know it exsists, or don’t know how to exploit it while fighting against it.

When the Chog ruled before perks, the N1K2 was considered the same. The La7 wasn't even thought of. If someone searches hard enough, Fatty told ya so.

If enough good pilots flew the 205 regularly, people would squeak about it in mass. And it may be coming, which is a good thing.

Claiming like Toad, and no offense, but your Lazs2 parrot post " Since eye-popping speed and vertigo-inducing rates of climb are my main interest, I will once again mainly fly the F4U-1 with a smattering of FM2 in the intense short range furballs.

I may occasionally take a Mustang out for old time's sake with the squaddies.

A few other incredibly feared and dangerous uber rides like the C-205 for variety maybe
.

The 205 being grouped in with the "manly bad" rides if you played long enough is laughable. This ain't no FM2 or whatever the trophy skilled furballers choose as their "I'm more hardcore than you" ride.

If any of the Italian flyers made a "Frenchy Contest" of sorts, Fester would go 300 kills and 2 deaths in a 205. Easily.

Cowl flap programming bugged over in IL-2 again? Lots of time on your hands while they sort out the true opening/closing times at various speeds?

205's a good airplane in some situations. Overall, in this planeset it's very similar to some of the 109's.

Ah ha, finally, I understand the “cowl flap” reference you are adamant about yapping about like a little dog on my heel and biting my pant leg when I post.

I was miffed every time you use it as a rebuttal, and therefore had to ignore it. Now I get it, I assume IL-2 has admitted a bug or something regarding it Toad? Dunno.

I play Il-2 in LAN situations, and don’t read their bbs. We just have a riot playing. No BBS banter to try and get all tough, or promote what we fly is better than the other. We just play the game.

Back to the initial post, the 205 is a beast in AH, in all situations.

You’ll have to try harder to seem all at a disadvantage, cool, and a furbal rebel. The 205 doesn’t fit what the image your  trying so hard at to promote. Actually, you come off as a newbie boob.

Fly the 205 for awhile, then you'll hide it's merits, not make us goof on you for thinking you found a good fighter.
