Hey now... there has to be some not weird...
Though I've heard some of the most disgusting stories of japanese people from my boss... he's chinese though, perhaps its not all true...
Well... its hard to believe, perhaps you would like to try get yer head around this one...
After the war and probably during.. food was scarce in Japan, so the populace learned to survive on whatever was available, often uncooked..
My boss said this was trendy amongst the wealthy once upon a time (may still be I dunno). The wealthy could go to an establishment and choose a girl, and then choose that girl's diet for the next week (could have been 2 I forget). After the week has passed the patron could then return and eat the girl's crap....
Supposedly this cost $1000's then again... what doesn't cost 1000's when it comes to yen...
I don't know if this is true or not, though I don't think my boss and his wife are fond of Japanese. They are both from China.
heh Hong Kong, China, Japan (even with stories like this) are still places I have to visit before I die!.. call it a childhood dream +)
