Well, well. Would you believe that old Uncle Beet used to fly from that very airfield -DuPage County (DPA) located on route 64 (North Avenue) in St. Charles, IL. I didn't do any dogfighting though! I always remember flying out to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Ran into cloud for a minute, and when I popped out, there in front of me was a HUGE stretch of water. OMG! Should I have worn a life jacket? :eek: It was, of course, the Mississippi river.

I might stop by.... Dupage county airport is only about 15min from my home in Wheaton.

What times will you be out there?

BTW there is very good pizza joint real close there  (Pal Joeys)

Also a GenoWest in downdown Wheaton as well as one of the best rib joints in the area  on Roosevelt road, "the rib house"

depends on  how fancy you like to eat.
