Well, my old college roommate is world renowned theoretical nuclear physicist at a major engineering university.  (seiously, he is)  He says string theory is full of mathmatical holes and unsupportable assumptions but has become the current cause celeb amoung those who dabble around the edges of real knowledge.  (seiously, he says this)

So, as far as I'm concened, I'll wait to study up and fully digest this stuff until someone decides it is actually true.  Wouldn't want to waste good AH time studying erroneous unified theories.  (seriously, I will wait)

Some come to the fountain of knowledge and drink their belly full.  I, on the other hand, prefer to gargle.  (seriously, I do)

But, thanks anyway Tahg!

interesting...  my former roommate is studying to be a theoretical astrophysicist.  (really he is.  or was.  he might be done by now.)

I have no clue what he says about it, as he goes to UC Santa Barbara, and I haven't corresponded with him in several years.  ;)

And I sure don't know about the math, cause I get stuck on quadratic equations, er well, okay, long division gives me problems too!

I have one quesiton though.  How can anything by one dimensional?  Beats the pants off me!
