Make aircraft glow by editing your textures for the planes you want to make glow. Use the color designated for the "Glow" Effect on the target recticles in certain places on the planes... Wingtip markers etc. Might also be a way for HT to model nav lights...

Same could be done using the colors designated as transparent. But then only you wouldn't see your invisible plane...

Anyone think this might work?

In theory, not in application. Light sourcing comes form one location. Youre talking about rewriting the entire hardware, let alone the code..HTC never gonna go for that.

The planes ...I wonder, if the testures are duplicated in alpha texturing....makes me wanna go see for myself...LOL talk about gaming the game, and painting a target on my bogies, for real!
