Its obvious that you have a winning game here
No, they've got the *idea* of a winning game here - it's still just vaporware - just like Confirmed Kill that sank from view
Are you going to rip the consumers like warbirds did
If the WB pilots considered they were being ripped off would they still be there?
In my opinion Warbirds is not worth 2 dollars an hour
That's right, in your opinion.
How else do you spend your leisure time? At the bar? Movies? Bowling? Just driving around? Any of them cost less than $2 an hour?
You use Simguild as the financial model to aim for.
Is that getting Simguild the income it requires to finance the development of its Battle of Britain sim?
How long's that been in development now?
How much has Flying Circus evolved since it went pay? Looking at the current screenshots and the fact that it's at v0.86 appears to me that not much has happened.
Does this flat rate income also allow Simguild to be able to afford to upgrade servers etc as demand increases?
Howsabout another flatrate sim, Air Warrior?
I'll admit I don't know how Kesmai's Air Warrior has been progressing lately. By that I mean the actual sim itself as I do know of the tools added to allow players to customise terrains and plane skins etc. But is that a way that Kesmai have shifted some of the workload maybe that they can't afford to spend on those sort of projects?
Also more workload shifted when they dropped the Mac version?
Also more workload moved sideways to develop Jet Warrior?
All on $10 a month?
Anyways, enough already.
Someone should store away a flatrate/hourly rate thread as it's all been said before and we could all just get on with other things if someone would just copy/paste it on to the relevant newsgroup once every couple of months or so
