Edbert, I have to ask what kind of humungeous monitor do you have to run your desktop at that res and actually read the icons much less text?   And where can I get one :)

My monitor runs at 1600x1000, the chat text blows up (big and ugly) but the rest of the text is proportional. I had to ramp up the icon text in the prefs.

Machead and Edbert MOL,  Manual edit works great for widescreen, just make sure you don't have to hit the apply button on the setup screen containing the res selection on it for some other setting or it will change again.  I used to run AH at my widescreen's native res of 1280x720 with no stretching but changed back to 1024x768 (stretched) for gameplay reasons.  In the widescreen res, I lost the bottom row of instruments and there was no blue sky above the top of the windscreen in default view.  I could see more to the sides but lost too much vertical real estate.

I'm doing 1920X1200 right now on a 16-inch laptop screen.

LOL,
Me too, for about 13, I was kind of kidding.  I think you know the people I am referring too.  One of the funniest things I have done at work was to put Win98 and INTEL inside stickers on the Sun Fire servers.  You could hear the unix admins screaming from miles away, lol :D
