Anybody else having a lot of probs with the particular Joystick?

When I first got it to replace my dog-ate-the-cord MSPP, I liked it alot, smooth and lotsa buttons (well compared to the MSPP, it had a few more, that's what I mean by lotsa...) It now tries to stay virtually glued to the center position, physically, movements have become very jerky, the spring almost seems overtight... wondering if anybody might have any insight.

Maybe soemthing to do with the way the FF is setup.

I guess it's possible estes, but I really talking about a physical jerkiness to the stick, when trying to move out from center
