This reminds of the German Telekom:
They offer ADSL at ridiculous, unaffordable prices and when asked why they didn t cut their prices to make fast connections to the internet affordable to almost everybody the answer was something like this:
"Weeeell, if you want to drive a Porsche and not a VW you have to pay top dollar (err..Deutsche Mark

)as well."
What's funny about this is the fact that they have a monopoly for ADSL on the German market, so they can pretty much charge what they want.
If there was competition, they wouldn t be able to maintain their silly policy.
Now look at the "high-fi"-online flight sim market:
WB had a monopoly there too (sorry you AW guys) and now that AH will be on the market shortly, there's a more reasonable pricing plan available to the customer.
Ain't competition wonderful?
