New to me anyway.
I recieved one of those postmaster undeliverable messages for a message I apparently sent to some company using one of my email aliases. An alias I have barely used. So I opened the attachment - I know that was stupid, but I had just got up and was a little groggy. Anyway, it's a text file - or rather a mail message... in Russian from me to 'Precision Computer Services'. Yes, Russian. Let's say my knowledge of Russian is less than conversational.
I know it would be easy to fake a message sent from my email address I guess, but why go to all that trouble? The only reason I can see is that it is a scam to get me to confirm my email addy is in use, by replying to the email. Is it possible they could have sent that message from my machine?
I've translated the message, and it's like a promo for English lessons in London, including details about flight costs. Strange.
Anyway, I'm running a full scan now just in case. Anybody heard of this?
