I don't think it is close, but I believe HTC will spill the beans at this year's con...

Also, Aces High II may very well have ground troops in it.  Not only did hitech mention that he would someday implement them ,but last janurary he quoted that he wanted to make aces high II "appeal to a wider audience."  this probably doesn't mean anything, but you never know....

Poly count is decreased with increasing distance, a technology that was invented many years ago.

For the plane I'm sitting in I don't need a more complex model. A more complex model of the targets would be nice but that isn't limited by the model. Cockpits for other planes are not fully drawn anyway.
