I see many posts about planes and features, but we've had almost no information about what is the core of AHII, i.e. the gameplay (remember that the original concept for AHII was called "the Mission Theater"). I for one am intensely curious about what types of missions we'll have, how they'll be generated, how will the server decide which ones to serve up, how they will affect the overall progress of the war?
Wishing for a B-29 or for craters that will affect taxi and take off are inconsequential. It's like worrying about what style of door knob is on the front door, when we don't even know what the floorplan looks like. We've heard some tidbits about the flight model, about skins, about graphics and such, but nothing new on gameplay for months. It is my hope that the important stuff (gameplay) is done, leaving them free to concentrate on little details like tightening up the graphics and flight model. I hope we'll start to see a bit more on gameplay soon.
