Which is exactly why I said it should cost some money $50 - $100 per accepted submission for every skin that a squad wants to have. You put a cost like that in there, and the number of squads that actually make the effort to submit a skin will be quite low in comparison to the number of squads that AH has.

If you can design them and see them on your own FE.... and you can send them to each other in the squad so everyone in the squad can see them on their FE, I don't see the critical need for every player in AH to see them. After all, skin art generally flashes by too fast to really appreciate it. From a six view, no matter how close you hug your opponent, you're not really gonna see anything.

Flying in formation? Well, your squad will see everyone's custom art just fine. Even reviewing film later for screenshots .... everyone has their custom noseart/individual plane id #, etc.

If I'm interested in seeing Mustang's nice personalized plane art in my films ... I can always ask you for it.

(The baaaad part could be the players that design neon planeskin sets ... for their opponents)

Your squad wants 2 skins. If everyone in your squad pays 5 bucks thats no biggie,

Suppose the maws want a "squad skin" for every plane they fly and each "of the maw squads wants them a bit different.

They all chip in .50 cents and now they have 25 oftheir skins plus your 2 27 so far with just 2 squads, then the aks, and the other hundred or so navy/ marine squads.

Hell my previous squad 3./JG 2 would need a scheme in each 109/190 and maybe seasonal skins. We all chip in 2 bucks np.

Adding money to it doesnt make it any less bloated or pointless.

The potential is there for hundreds of variations.
