SUPERFLY: Question about gunsite on 88's
« on: May 15, 2001, 07:48:00 AM »
Could you leave a small circle in the center of the gunsite?  THat intersection of all the crosshairs is not good for sighting it in.  Thanks.

Thats not an 88 mm gun I think, more like automatic 37 mm or 40 mm.

By the way HTC, when flak gun manned by player gets destroyed does it give kill for player who destroyed the gun? This would be most desirable.

BTW, SuperFly, those emplacements look kick ass.  I would take it as a compliment that the community is so used to your quality work that it's taken for granted. Only 2 posts I can see so far that extend praises (not like the early days, huh?).

Can u post a shot of how the different guns are selected?  I'm assuming it'll be like choosing a gun in the fleet, except with a field for a background.

Thanks,
-Sudz

Selection works just like the gunner positions for the cv's.  I don't want to show a shot of them right now because they look a bit squirrely.

Question,

Has Cannon's blast radius been changed in v1.07?
Cannon has pretty big blast radius in AH.

If these acks don't have armor, these ones will be not fun.....

Will these guns go on Auto gunner if there is no one in them when an enemy shows up or will they lay dormant?

Just a note, the US AA sights did have a hole in them.

This is not a particularly good picture but it demonstrates the peep sight closest to the gunner, and the main rings.

Although this is a 20mm gun, all of the AA guns used this sight, including the 40mm, 3 inch and 5 inch single mount guns.

I agree, something with a central area you can see through, like the sight I use for my plane.

I would suggest you retrofit that center hole sight to the PT boat and 40mm Bofors turrets on warships.  They have the same problem.  I adjust my seat so I don't have to look thru the sight.
