getting Ripped off!
« on: October 24, 2000, 04:02:00 PM »
Theres alot of Spitties,2 versions of hogs,Uhmmmm how many versions of the 109, and 190's?,Pony, 2 types of 47's, ju88,b-17,lanc,b-26,tiffy,p-38, the Italians have what 2-3 planes? russians have 2 and the IJN has 2. The "new" list to pick from had a nice "lopsided" assortment to choose from.
As the Russian and Japanese planes get short shafted again. I AM bias in wanting the Ki series, But you would also have to agree it IS only fair, I also know HTC staff has went far beyond MY expectations in speed of implimenting new aircraft, and i also know they are constantly working on new aircraft and have a long way to go, But IMO in all fairness PUNT the Ki up that list more. I also believe the F6 should be punted up that list also ( But i'll probably never fly it)

You are not alone.   I've been hoping I would hear something about the Ki series fighters for 1.05, but since its a naval upgrade didn't hold out much hope.  I would love to fly the Ki.44, Ki.45 (ground attack/anti-shipping version), Ki.61 and Ki.84.   The IJAAF is completely unrepresented so far in AH.

The F6F is one of the next planes.  As to the poll you are referring to, that is in regards to late war variants of existing planes.  Please let me know if I've excluded anything that fits into that category.  Further, that's not slated for 1.05, we have quite a bit on our plate with the naval stuff.  We're just gathering feedback for future plans.  We didn't mean to offend by asking for our customers for their opinions.

have to say it was democratic after all it was a vote...but like pyro says they are working on the new ships etc and after all anti ship sea/land battles were very much pacific theatres   so you are getting a more Pacific like theatre to fly in right? I love japanese planes and now ive got realistic anti shipping stuff to fly it with!
lets not be impatient with HTC, they must love this stuff as much as we do and im sure they plan for loads of planes in future and are probably(? :P ) working hard at it all the time.
JUST WORK HARDER! <sound of cracking whip>

Pyro, I don't feel offended in any way. I never EVER felt as close to any game as i do AH, the staff at HTC makes me feel that i am apart of HTC ( as probably most others do ).

As for the other post... Democratic? I know HTC owns HTC and I feel Honored that the staff at HTC would even ask what planes we would like to see, But on the other hand, choosing from a "bias" list is hardly democratic, Nor do I expect it to be democratic. I also don't want to sound as if I'm whining,, I'm not, But the plane set "IS" alittle bias toward Europe planeset, as you would have to agree. I AM partial to PAC planesets, and wish the KI would be punted up the list a few. And as the HTC crew eats cold pizza and warm beer as they burn the midnight hours trying to quench our thirst with more planes and ships.
I can only dream of my KI punching threw the clouds, sweaty hands, as I send a few newly launched F6's to a watery grave. Just doesn't sound right if i were in a 109
