We probably wont see this in AH2, but i would like to see more interaction between pilot and plane in future versions of Aces High.
Im talking about things like naming your brand new shiny plane at the beginning of the Tour of Duty, and as time progresses your plane will get old depending on the weather and by enemy fire(scratches and battlescars), and will gain recognition. (Like the memphis belle, etc)

I think the difference is that planes like the Memphis Belle didn't get shot down, that's WHY they could look old.

Actually the Memphis Belle was neglected and ignored for so long that at one point the Army threatened to terminate the license to display it due to it's horrific condition.

Birds, rats mice and all sorts of vermin had contributed to the effects of the elements in reducing the beautiful Bell to a hazzard and an eyesore. A group of ppl organized a restoration project and saved the bird. Thats why the Bell looks old. Not because they never washed or repaired her between missions...
