The MC-7502 (2 channel 600W) was about $3,500.00.  I use it for powering dual B&W subwoofers.

The MC-7503 (3 channel 800W) was about $4,200.00.  I use it for powering the 3 front B&W center speakers.

I use the Yamaha DSP-A1 to power the other 4 B&W speakers.

The B&W's are the THX line (FCM8 Mains, PCS8 Subs, SCM8 surrounds).

what ohm's are the speakers @.

a store here in Milwaukee had some McIntosh pre amps running some speakers (i forget which) @ 2 ohms. WOW talk about amazing sound clarity (from a turntable too  ;) )

Ps. that McIntosh was $35,000 IIRC.

The McIntosh you are referring to is part of the signature line.  It is a tube amplifier and is probably one of the best amplifiers in the world.

I ran the B&W's at 4 ohms.

If you have not heard the Yamaha DSP-A1 with some good speakers connected, you won't beleive the clarity of the sound, particularly the highs.
Crisp and clean.  The mids are not muddled at all.

I have had Dennon, but after I heard the A1, I was sold.  Plus all the nice bridges it has to allow you to reroute the amp power made it great for my setup.

I cannot stand the low end Yamaha stuff, but thier upper line DSP stuff is pretty awesome, particularly for the price ($1500.00 for the A1).
