so like the small bases, are they airfields aplenty? More maps=more variety. Can you build it? I haven't even figured out how to get my terrain editor to run without dying.

bocko, yes the small fields will be close together and a lot easier to exchange hands between countries. Hopefully meaning a constant to and throw of fighting in very close proximity.If you like you can spend all your time fighting in just the small bases or if you feel like a real attack yo fly over these bases and hit the larger ones further back. If you dont take out the industries though, they will be next to impossible to take without a massive strike. If the factories are killed the it becomes as easy as it is now in MA to capture(no easier).
 i wished i could build it but i like you am totally green with the editor plus im not sure ill be able to make this map without a couple of changes which i think may only be done by HTC themselves.I would like each zone to have its own radar for instance (placed in the capital city?)

I really hope HTC have taken a quick look at this, it may be something they would consider if it works as its designed to.

i kind of like the idea...being an avid furballer myself...small fields that are closer together would be nice......until the bases become porked :(

but all in all i like the idea

remember with my system of great resupply whilst factories are at maximum output the fuel supply and ammo etc wont stay down long at all. (less than 15 mins) . Once the factories and city are pretty much flattened which id expect to take many attacks to acheive (or one REALLY big mission :)) the resupply of the bases slows down.

This means the small bases will change hands but they will have to be very short sharp organised raids or massed overpowering attacks probably using vehicles to overflow the defenders? all the  while the furballs rage overhead. Those same defenders could then jump to the next base along and be STILL within 30 miles of the battles and more likely 15-20 miles.In a way a defender could just ignore the stuff below knowing he'll always be near to a base. These small bases fights would be ferocious!!:) then as the fights break through to the centre of each 'capital zone' they will need to be more planned in order to overthrow the bases.The rate of the fight or the pace should change nicely.

anyone in HTC think it mas some merit? would be nice to know what they thought
