AH hang-ups
« on: July 29, 2003, 10:21:28 AM »
I got a very strange problem with AH: I can connect, i can play, no trouble - framerate steady 75. But suddenly framerate decreases to 2 (!) fps, and stays at this value - so gaming is not possible anymore. Since a few days another problem appeared - this time im in the hanger, choosing an AC or GV, and in the moment clickin on the tower button, AH shuts down and i see the desktop screen. Also in the Taskmanager AH disappeared.
Anyone an idea about the reason for that? Or anyone having the same problems?

Chk for IRQ conflicts.  I had similar problems, turned out to be a conflict with my vid card and modem.

Does anyone know how to get the video card and the lan off of the same irq.  installed new mother board with onboard lan and the usb controller, the fx5600 video card and the lan 10/100 all using irq 11

jeez..Usually go into device manager and check for conflicts.  WIndows will take you thru the resolve conflict thing,
