HELP with HELP!
« on: November 27, 2001, 08:29:00 AM »
In order to avoid having to pester people with my (many) questions about AH during gameplay, I did as advised and downloaded the HELP file - an application in its own right. The one I downloaded was a file called AHHELP.EXE and is 4,443KB in size. I’ve run this application, and it reports that HELP has been installed properly, and then directs me to read the README text file. When I do that, all I find is a list of revisions.  I had thought I was downloading some sort of Aces High encyclopaedia containing answers to anything I might need to know about the game. Can you please tell me if I’ve done the right thing, and if so, how to make the HELP application work.

Other than that, my learning curve is going well. I want to read up about the points system – can’t wait to earn enough points so I can fly the F4U-4.

Thanks, Hitech   :) I installed it under W2000 and it worked first time. In W98, it was the location of the hh.exe file that was causing the problem. Pointed the system at c:\windows\system and now it works fine in W98 too.
