The Flying Yaks fly all bishop, all the time and use the Russian airplanes (and their subs: La-5, la-7, Yak 9u, Yak 9t, IL2, P40B, Hurri IIC, Spitfire MkV, A20, Mosquito) for all squad ops. Does that mean you're limited to these planes off squad time? Of course not. Fly what you want.
The plane of choice during squad times will tend to be the Yak9u, though the other planes will fill in as needed. Don't worry if you aren't the best pilot yet, there's people in the squad who'll be more than willing to teach ya some tricks over in the TA.
And, Macchi wanted it added in that the XO is very cute. And yes. She is a girl. See? Bonus! Fly great planes and watch a gal's six! Great deal, eh?
