Different victory conditions for the game????

I noticed a tendancy of players to not go for the jugular when it comes to winning the "war".  There is no incentive.  Actually, I beleave that most people feel sorry for the underdog and won't attack them out of pity, instead going for the larger of the two enemys.

What if the gameplay scheme changed when you won?  That might get somebody's interest.  Win the war...see whats next.

Anybody got any ideas for new ways to play this game?  I'm talking about something other than "catured all of his bases" style games.  A different set of "victory conditions".

Ok, even if HTC won't put these into the game, couldn't we at least run these as events in the other arena?

Lets brainstorm guys....no idea too silly.   Well, Ok.  SOME ideas are silly (note:  No "steal the sheep" games please...I already thought of that one     ).

1.  "Bomb the cities!"  Your country has several cities and airbase.  Completely level a city and your nation gets a "point".  First nation to score X ammount (100?) points wins.  No C47s or M-3s.

2.  "Battlefield!"  V-fields galore in a cluster near the middle of the map.  C-47s disabled at all airfields located around the rim of the map away from the V-field center cluster.  First nation to capture all the V-fields wins.  Note: This one might be doable now with the terrain editor.

3.  "Axis vs Allies west/east."  Almost a Historical arena setup, but without the icon settings.  Germans vs US/Britain on a Western European map.  Also its evil twin the Germans vs the Russians.  Or even a US vs Japan map.

There need to be some concesions on vehicle choices since some key machines are not available in their nationality yet like cargo planes, tanks, ect.

Again, this one is doable now with the terrain editor + arena settings.

4.  "Mixed bag."  Same game we have now, but the planeset availability is devided up into three ways randomly, so the game is never the same.  I.E. the FW190A8 is only available to the Knights, while the Bf109G10 is only available to Rooks.  Speacial; maybe even have the Ground Vehicles and C47 be mutually exclusive.  Your nation may have only one, but not both.

Another game do-able with the editor, though some poor shmuck has to roll dice to see who gets what aircraft before the game is loaded up.

5.  "Pilot skill".  One figher design, one bomber design, the C47, and no ground vehicles.  Each of the three nations are identical.  May the best man win.

Note:  I think in order to make this one less "stale" I would keep the gameworld small to speed up how long it takes to win the war (few bases).  Its fun for awhile, but not THAT long.

Well the 190 A8  is o great Dog so  only to knight yea:-)))))    190A8 is not the plane  who can balance gameplay  the niki spit C hog
