Was it a Spit or a Yak? I think I did both but had to dodge the Knight fleas buzzing the runway. I remember the Yak kill. I was in a right hand turn to clear my baffles when you came out of the smoke and got me with a shot from my 1 or 2 o'clock position, in close. I'm guessing the Spit kills were probably you coming in from onhigh and buzzing the field while I was trying to go nose-up. I fly stupid in Spitfires (just check my score
). The more I think about it, I think the first kill you got on me was you in a dive while I was trying to get out of the way. Can't remember what I was flying, though. Then another kill in a looping turnfight, and then the Yak kill. Or something like that.
I also remember you being ranked in the 300's or so and following the Knight stream onto the base. I usually won't whine until the
second time I get shot down by the same guy in the same plane, or unless someone - (cough)Wxman of the AKs(cough) - makes a claim that the fight was at coalt when actually they were coming in from hi alt packing speed in a Spit IX.
In fact, that reminds me that a certain AK - (cough)Wxman(cough) - still owes me some film that they said would prove that they got me in a fair fight....
By the way, flying with training wheels will kill your skills. Get in the Ki-61 as soon as possible and save yourself before its too late!
