Newbie questions about events
« on: October 26, 2000, 06:22:00 PM »
These are pretty much all I fly, so I have some questions:

Do the CO's/FL's use the mission planner for their particular mission in the event?

Are they reduced icon? No Inflight Radar? Various combos of the above?

Is there a one-stop-shop where the times/events/rules are listed?

Are there combined arms events?

Thanks and I look forward to trying out this aspect of the game.

I would say yes, if they want.

It varies. Icons can be reduced to enemy 3k, friendly 10k(not sure of friendly range) Radar can be reduced or eliminated.

Air and land forces?
The "Afrika Corps" scenario has a small bit of land forces mixed in. There might have been a Snapshot event with mixed forces, kind of foggy on that one though.

We have weekly events. Check Six and Snapshots. Both are historically based. Both are 100% walkons.

The snapshot series is a 1 life event that normally runs for an hour. Sometimes they run a second frame.

Check Six is an unlimited life event that scheduled to run approximately 5 hours.

Setup varies per event.

The Check Six events are temporarily suspended due to the "Afrika Corps" scenario.
