ya they have a little red line at the bottom that shows ur speed and alt and its pointless cause people shut it off and ur flying in the dark on speed and alt wise it sucks big time, part of the reason i moved to AH

A lot of the 3D models that were 'round' are octagonal.. The goony's fuselage.. B17G's engines.. and some other stuff..

It really kinda ruins the look..

i wanna see italian, jap, and germ planes re-done its flight instruments. MPH and FT should be replaced with Km, Meters. I would also want to see dials and guages placed correctly on each planes.

As far as I remember, La5, Spits and P51 were the only redone planes in the past.

Armoured rear cockpit glass on both La's is just wrong.........

Tail of the La5 is too thick........... (it should be no thicker than the la7's just a very slightly different shape)

Sights are too low behind the armoured glass.

Actually the lavochkins are pretty easy to skin externally because rear of the forward fuselage there are no body panels (bar the access hatch and two fuel plates in the wings). The paint work is actually on a layer of varnished wood veneer.

The lines so often depicted on the wings (over and behind the gear mounting point) cannot be seen on the finished AC

I dont think the La has been re doneduring my time here

Considering how colourfull even the blue grey la's were when two toned and guards emblems added ours is pretty boring........... as stated elsewhere I would love to see Popkovs La5FN in the MA

It would be illegal, but I posted some screens of the game in the screenshots forum. While I do not want them to borrow the exact things, I would like AH2 generally look like the planes in combat flight simulator 2 with paint chips, debris, great fires... etc.

Rgr that. Especially the f4u's. They all need their polygons redone, and the f4u 1d and c's textures all look pretty cartoony IMO. The f4u's need to be redone.

Generally I think the 109's polygon count and textures seem fin, but the cockpits need reworking.

And as for the dials not working in IL2: FB...I have not played the game myself but i have seen movies of it and screenshots and all the dials seem working. Its probably your graphics card, should get a new one.

I'd certainly like to see the units on the ASI, altimeter etc done authentically (ie - meters for LW planes etc).

Also, it would be nice if the russian planes had Cyrillic writing on the gauges instead of english, and the same for japanese planes. It all helps to add a bit more atmosphere to the game.

I knew some girls with that same problem. They were Amish or baptist or something. Totally fast, but that whole octagonal look . . .
