PS2 and Xbox - Online Query

Ok, I know both can now go online with broadband. I have an XBox, and I've seen the XBox live headset you can use to communicate to people you are playing with online. However I am thinking of getting a PS2, but cannot seem to find any similar type of headset.

Any of you guys know if such a thing exists? If not when it might exist? Seems kinda boring to be able to go online and play football but not be able to talk trash to you buddies?

I currently own an Xbox, but I have played online with the PS2 at a friends house one time. AFAIK, there isn't a headset for the PS2 out.  That Socom navy seals game has it's own so I think that for it to have a headset, each individual game would have to require it's own special headset.  I don't know if the one that comes with the Navy Seal game is universal or not.
