You should...

take it to the hardware forum.  There's currently a couple of threads there that pertain to the saitek stuff... they should be on the first page.

Hell.. you might even get creamo to send you a love letter if you ask this question there.

AKDejaVu was simply giving you some advice. You'll prob get more/better answers there.

Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

Saitek X36 has one more "little" button than the x45 , buy it only with the "store" warr. so you can take it back when the hat wear's out for a cheap and easy as hell replacement . 10 bucks at compUSA , done it 4 times myself .

I use SGE version 2.4 with IE 5.5 or higher with good results . It does eat memory when you are making changes to SGE , reboots are a must .

Please to follow all of Ron Hunts excellent advice on "how to" install SGE for np fun .

That all said I have a couger pre ordered at Chip and Bits   :D

It's a great stick the Saitek but if you don't follow instructions you are going to have problems .

Ron's new help site , he's the man for Saitek

take care
