Major flop of anti-terrorism agencies.

Miko, you are way off on this one.

This was an INTERNATIONAL effort. The former KGB contacted the CIA/Homeland Security with this information - a first - a never-done-before cooperative effort against terrorism.

What do you think the USA should have done? Ignore the intelligence?

I see it as one more terrorist ally off the streets. That is one less prettythanghole willing to help terrorists that will not be able to do so in the future. That makes our country that much safer.

I also see it as a much needed exercise of the new cooperation between nations to fight terrorism...

Its all good. Unless of course you have a Davie vs Goliath complex against the Bush administration.

Only miko could take a minor insignificant victory and turn it into a major battlefield defeat

The anti-terrorism agencies had bigger fish in mind.

Blame the BBC I suppose.
