It's been over two years since I participated in the JumpGate beta test...

Thinking very seriously about giving it another go... It definitely has the "fly to live" aspect hard wired and I was always a big fan of Elite.

Anyone play it recently?

Have you seen Jumpgate? It is Elite. Has almost everything that Elite had but adds the other dimension of team play.

I still have an active account, but I never play.  It's lost it's appeal for me.  There's rarely more than 100 people on peak time.  They've added a ton of content, though.  Message Engine in AH Main Arena, he still plays all the time.  He could fill you in more than I.

yeah, I've been playing for years.  I haven't logged in much in the past year, though, and now one of my accounts is hosed, and my client is messed up.

Support has crapped out, but the players can help with almost everything.

Jumpgate is a great game, just poorly managed with less publicity than it needs to survive. If the game could just get the attention it needs, it could be huge.

I played for a long time but I couldn't stand seeing it die taking all my effort of money and getting good in it, along with it. I had alot of stuff too, heck, for 1 month of AH in cash I'd give you the password to all of them.
