Thought I'd run this past you guys first. There is a lot of knowledge here.
I have had XP Pro since it came out. I made a mistake a week or so back and had to re-install. Not reformat, reinstall. My computer is running excellent with a coupla anomilies. The Administartive Services and Font icons in the Control Panel don't work. All others do. Also the Desktop Tab in Display properties is missing. In order to change backgrounds I have to go into the Windows Folder. Understand these are more an inconvience then anything. I can still get to Administartive tools via C:\Documents & Setting\All users\Start Menu\Programs\Administarative Tools
Also my GPE (Group Policy Editor) is blank? It comes up when I type in Gpedit.msc in run. I think that my MMC (Microsoft Management Console) snap in didn't install. Anyone know how I do that? Any help is appreciated.
