ok well there i was, i just downloaded the Barbados map from an H2H arena and i figured id go fly a bomber mission on my own(offline)-- ok so there i was, i took a lancaster, set the time to 5:30 (dark) and started going down the runway at full speed. so i pull up and head out over the water, gaining alt... so i turn and head towards the base, open my doors, and BAM a big black flak hit shot out my engine and i wobble the plane a little, scattering the bombs... so so i get wrecked above the base, i got both drones shot down, i watched them slowley drift down and explode right into a big black cloud.. so i kept going, i checked my damage and i had engine 1 and 2 oil and engine 3 was shot out... so i gained alt and hoped i could make it back. So about 5 minutes after the drop, the sun starts to come up and it gets a little lighter so i could see where the runway was, and engine 2 dies... i tried shutting it down and restarting them but no luck, and with that engine 1 died.. so im flying on one engine in a lancaster in the middle of the night 20 miles from the nearest runway... and all the fuel is shot out, so i start to drift down knowing that the 1 engine wont hold me up, just as I start to drift down and loose hope, i see the faint hangers in the distance.. oh man what a good site to see, and i drift down towards the runway, pull my gear down and one wheel wont come down, so i bring them back up and put them down again hoping it will work, now the other gear is stuck down and wont get pulled back up... so i land on one wheel and gently place my wing on the ground, spin out of control and sit there.. and watch engine 4 die off from fuel.. i sat there and couldnt believe how great that was
