a7n8x deluxe temp probe
« on: August 19, 2003, 05:20:00 PM »
When I installed the CPU, I forgot to check the temp probe(prop it up to make sure it touches the cpu). I'm getting a CPU temp of 30c from my bios. This seems low(i'm used to running at just over 40c) I don't want to remove the heat sink to check it because it is seated to near perfection and I don't want to disturb it. Did anyone with this mobo check the probe before they installed the CPU?

Sounds like board temp to me, might have the cpu and board temps switched.

28c board temp/ 32c cpu temp, that's why I was curious about the probe. But now that I think of it, i'll just contact asus. I called them when my video card wouldn't work, they were very helpful.
