Have you tried shooting down Tigers by shooting the rear section of that tank? The Russians who flew IL-2s discovered that the rear section of the tank is the weak spot. Most of the fuel and ammo supplies are stored in the rear section, which lacked armor.

Why not use P-47s?

The USAAF P-47 pilots claimed they could kill Tigers easily with their .50s by richicheting the bullets off the ground into the belly.

So Rutilant, what you are saying here is that we're dealing with Flying Tigers? Those Germans could engineer ANYTHING!!
