You're kidding. By that logic the 110 and mossie should definately be perked too. Hell, perk the B17... it has 12 .50 cals!
Firepower is only one aspect of a plane's performance.
152 has a pronounced turning advantage over the A8, far better performance at altitude, and far more powerful WEP. It also has smaller advantages in acceleration, climb rate, speed at pretty much all altitudes.
The only thing the A8 has going for it is the option to take one extra mk108. And since the 108s can't be fired separately from the mg151/20s on the A8, you're probably only hitting with one set of cannons or the other (ie you're wasting two guns) unless you're shooting at buffs or under d300 with a zero-degree deflection shot. Unless you're hunting buffs, that extra mk108 isn't that big of an advantage. With fighters, a single 30mm will do the same damage as two... dead target.
And the 152's performance advantages get even larger when you load the A8 down with the heavy 30mm loadout. Not to mention the 152's 30mm cannon has 90 rounds, as opposed to an A8 with 110 rounds being fired from two guns. So the 152 has almost twice the firing time from its 30mm than the A8. Add that to the fact that it's centerline mounted, you've got a far more useful weapon on the 152.
About perking it, it's not your typical MA monster that the other perk planes are. I'd either like to see the 152 tag changed to 190, or the perk cost eliminated (or reduced substantially). The plane just doesn't have the MA survivability to carry that perk tag on it.
