Looking to improve my overall rank but I hate GV's. Where does the rank go when you man a heavy ships gun??

nowhere you just kill stuff, doesn't add to rank IIRC

Tip, capture a field now & then from the CV with an LVT. If you can kill something on the way even better.

Does wonders for your GV rank.

Yeah drive LVT's and m3's for captures, much safer than goons too (often faster to the maproom as well)

I'll always use M3s or LVTs before goons if possible - surprising how often enemy fighters fly right over without spotting me.... I only fire at them if they attack me directly, otherwise it only attracts their attention.
