ricocheting rounds
« on: August 08, 2003, 10:26:03 PM »
I was in tank town this evening and at least 6 out of every 10 rounds I shot were ricocheting off people's armor. It didn't seem to matter the direction or angle.
I spend a lot of time in gvs and I'd never seen it that bad (at least 3 of the 10 were passing through the other guy and exploding on the other side, but that's another story). Any idea why so many ricochets?

Stop shooting the front armor, take something with a bigger gun.

I have played AH on a local network on PC's in the same room.  When shooting from one tank to another, the shooter would see the round go through the target and hit behind.  From the targets side, it looks like it ricochets.
