HTC my suggestion for the new map.

New MAP looks neat ands its cool, except for one that bugs me.

I would suggest that the default base icon be the base name and country symbol, and not the little field type graphic which is very distracting and disorienting.

So basically the base name and country symbol would always be visible as before.

And you could get field type by clicking on the clipboard.


What does everyone think of this?

You may be right, but give it a week or two to get used to it.  Right now I tend to agree with you, but want a chance to get used to the new markers.
