Posted this in Hardware but no response, so I thought I'd try it here.

TM Afterburner 1 Question

I just got a thrustmaster afterburner 1 for a spare gaming machine, and can't figure out how to program the throttle detents using the thrustmapper software (looking for WEP with full fwd and brake with full back past the respective detents). Can anyone give me a clue? Why are they there if you can't program them?

Man, TM is not very strong on their documentation. It was a pain figuring out the standard programming conventions.

BTW, good deals on this ($24.00) and the TM USB Nascar wheel over at: http://www.computergeeks.com

You need to head over to Frugal's world and ask the question:

Try E-Bay lazs.  Though thrustmaster does list them here.
