I hear Grier is drafting for the Texans now, good luck to ya.

1998 Grier draft
1 18* Robert Edwards RB
1 22 Tebucky Jones S
2 22* Tony Simmons  WR
2 24 Rod Rutledge  TE
3 20* Chris Floyd FB
3 22 Greg Spires DE
4 23 Leonta Rheams DL
5 22 Ron Merkerson LB
6 23 Harold Shaw RB
7 22 Jason Anderson

* Picks we got from the Jets getting Parcells( that Bill said we would waste anyway, lol)

Rod Rutledge in the 2nd round, doh! 6 picks in the first 3 rounds, robert Edwards wasn't a bad pick, but first rounders are mostly no brainers. Tebucky could have been had in the 2nd easily.

The odds are definately in OU's favor. They have a tremendous team this year.  But considering the turmoil Bama has had recently,  we face a better OU team with nothing to lose on Saturday, where OU has everything to lose.  I will take that with a smile.  BTW, OU barely escaped last year, if you watched the game.

until last year I could really never get into college ball.  But now I am a rabid fan, and usually the best games are the lesser schools.  I watched the CU, CSU game to, outstanding game.

Thing that drives me nuts is the big schools playing the tiny ones and running the scores up, why on earth are those games even scheduled?

The small schools schedule them for money, the large schools schedule them for practice.

Back in the late '70s I went to the annual USC vs. UCLA game and of course USC trounced the hell out of the Bruins.  By the end of the 3rd quarter, SC had the game in the bag and on the score board was this:

U
Clowns
Lose
Again

GO SC!
