NHRA Pro Stocker's have been doing this for years, running oil through the tube frame. Tain't nuthin' new. But it is a cool idea.

Yeah that was a pretty cool show. But I'm lookin forward to the street rod series myself

. In boyd coddingtons shop. I caught one episode the other night but haven't seen it advertised again. Anybody know when that show is supposed to be coming on? Boyds been on the cutting edge of the rods for years.

I was a little disappointed that Boyd used a fiber-glass body but understand why he did. That finished car was really nice. I was waiting for him to paint "U.S.Navy" and "Blue Angels" on the side but he never did.

Fiberglass has come a long way in recent years. And it's not gonna rust either, or welds show through, etc. etc.

But you're right, steel is the preferred route if you've got the money and time.

My father in law is an old school hot rodder and worships Boyd. He's going to be real disappointed to see Boyd doing a fiber-glass job on the show. He has had a few '32 roadsters and is quite the mechanical artist himself, I have never seen welder's beads like his.
