Some of the whimsical aspects are interesting, e.g. the German cv.  Fun flying Messers off the flattop.  Will have to try landing bf on cv if I ever survive that long.

Hey is there any way to get the P-40E enabled from the CV's also?  Actually the "Checkertails", when they were transported over to tunis, launched their P-40F's from the USS Ranger.. though it was pre yellow and black checkertail days.

Permit me to introduce a rare (well, it's rare in writing, isn't it?) Oldman whine:

I am ashamed of all of you veterans who flew spit 9s in this setup.  I can understand why the newbies would want to fly one, and I think it's good that they do.  But I didn't expect that from the rest of you.

So there.

hehe The only reason I took a Spit IX the other night was because of the incessant whining about it by just about everyone on the Axis.  I swear, within a minute of logging into the CT, the buffer was nothing but Spit IX complaints mostly by people I never find complaining.

Ordinarily, I would have chosen to fly Luftwaffe, but for some reason I felt obligated to grab a Spit IX and see if I couldn't rachet up the signal to noise ratio a bit.

I have to say that the D-11 vs. 109/190 matchup is what I am looking for, can't we have an "Earl" scenario where the Jugs get featured againts the Luftwaffe/Italian Iron with no interference from Spits above the MkV and no Pony boys?

Eskimo, thats what she said..:D

P-47 vs 109 is nice except when the P-47 has just departed a field and is still slow and slugish or more then 1 109 is in the fight...ok more than one anything is in the fight.

oldman you sound like shane.....to bad the Typhoon was pulled or you would be calling me a *******.

I dont fly Spits so I dont know how the Spit IX handles.
