Apology to Whels1.
« on: September 22, 2000, 09:01:00 AM »
Lastnight during the Rook attack on our HQ (Knight), Whels1 jumped 1 of the Rook Lancasters and got him smoking. I saw Whels1 slash thru and then drop altitude. I then began my run & killed the Lanc. I simply got over anxious because the Lanc was getting close to our HQ. The Lanc was Whels1' kill all the way! Sorry about stealing that one Whels1.

You guys make me sick with your new fashion of Politicall Correctness! I am all for courtesy and respect but there must be some common sense...

Stealing a kill is when one guy is in (or almost in) a position to shoot or is shooting already and the result of a fight is pretty much assured and another guy comes with greater speed or drops from above and finishes the enemy off.

If the first shooter blew his pass and is pointed nowhere near the target and his intentions and ability co continue the fight are not clear, it is you virtual duty to take the enemy on.
Especially when we are talking about a loaded bomber nearing a target. In fact, bombers should be attacked by more then one fighter simultaneously.
