Accountability?

I hope the asteriod IS on a collision course.  

Not because I want to see the earth hit by an asteriod, but instead I think it could be a catalyst for huge leaps in space exploration.

Also, it might be good for the peoples of earth too, perspective wise.  All on the same boat sorta thing.

Latest is that it won't hit us. Of course that is what they might say to avoid chaos. But... I think they are telling the truth.

I'm not a democrat. What has really surprised me is that there is no mention of the senior leadership of some of the various power companies who have been found guilty of illegal pricing, illegal 'regulation' of power, etc. basically prove that Davis and the rest of CA. got *screwed* by a bunch of greedy bastards.

Like him or not, a notable part of CA. budget woes have nothing to do with politics. CA. was ripped off.

you could blame the stupid recall process they have.  recalls are fine in the case of gross misconduct but this recall for being dis-satisfied is stupid.

it's bad enough that politicians spend much of their time and almost all of the last year in office camoaigning for the next term, but there where recall papers being filed almost imediatly after the election was over.

  how do you expect anything to get acomplished if elected officials have to run a full time election campaign from the moment they are in office?

maybe he would have done a good job, maybe he would have sucked, who know he never had a chance to do anything with this term before having to deal with this recall election
