I got off a train the other day and saw that Ju52 overhead. Sounds like a washing machine.

My office is on base at NAS Patuxent River, MD. As the Navy's primary flight test base since WW2, quite a few oddball aircraft have been here at one time or another. Off the top of my head, FW-190, Zero, Mavis, P-51, etc, etc.

Currently we have F/A-18A/B/C/D/E/F's, EA-6B's, T-45's, the X-31, X-32, and X-35, P-3's, C-130's, V-22's, AH-1's, H-1's, H-60's, plus all the oddball aircraft the US Naval Test Pilot School flies. From time to time we have a civilian P-51, MiG-21 and even a Ju-52 in the pattern.
