You're right funked1 that comment had nothing to do with this discussion - I just used it as an example of the way the US posters tried to patronise the opposing posters.

smug answer eh? how bout this...
France watched 15,000 people, mainly the old and the infirm die in a heat wave this year. All while your doctors were on vacation and your hospitals understaffed. A true tradgedy that could and should have been easily prevented. We (the coalition) are in battle every day doing our best to protect the citizens of Iraq and the loss of inocent life is considerably less.

I always love a good America bashing thread that instantly turns into a "why are you bashing France?" thread.

Odd... it's been a bit since someone started up a "France sucks, how could you lamers just sit there and do nothing but give someone like Saddam weapons?" thread.

I think one of the better way's to avoid these "who's country is better" threads is probably to avoid starting up threads bashing someone else's country.  Though it's fun to watch people go on the defensive when people react to them being on the offensive.

Oh well... argue away.

Siaf,

When your country stops acting as a potato suckling terrorost sponsoring nations to her bosum, then you can comment, until then, go join the protests and watch your economy crumble.

Fat chance we will be there to bail your arses out a third time.  Which is too bad, considering the heros that your grandfathers were... unlike your POS younger generation.
