Have you ever read the Deathstalker books (Simon Green) a fun read, and fast reading. Not to the scale of Martin or Tolkien, but good reads nonetheless. And yes he is waiting too damn long to release next books, but I want it to be good. Can't wait to see what Tyrion is up too.

no I haven't read them. I'll have to check it out, when I can start reading again. I took a injury in may and haven't been able to read for any length of time since. (from 600 pages a week to almost nothing).

hopefully they'll have this figured out and fixed before 'feast for crows' is released.

If you love this kind of book go one step further and start reading Terry Prachett diskworld chronicle.

It simply brillant , funny and the writing is pretty superior.

As far as childrens authors go i always thought that roald dahl was the man.

He was a WWII fighter ace to boot (read Going Solo to learn about that)
