Try this test.

Push in on the area that hurts gently. Does it hurt more when you release than when you push in?

Also do you have any sort of fever at all?

No, its on the right (Left as you look at someone)  I know, mine ruptured.

Incidently, mine started out as feeling like indigestion in my Esophagus. Took Rolaids for about 12 hours, then the pain moved to the stomach, slight fever developed by this time. The next morning the pain moved to the lower right side.  Reason was...the nerve for the pain runs up and down that area apparently, thats why I felt it as heatburn first.

bah my bad.  I asked a nurse about it and she misled me.  She said the pain will start on the left usually so i guess I just assumed the appendix was on the left.

Shes right though, the pain can start anywhere in the abdominal region.  THe nerve tract runs rampant thru that area.  Bottom line, if you have pain, go see a doc. (Especially if you're running a low-grade fever)

The differential diagnosis for abdominal pain is endless. Better see a doc sooner than later.

Go see the doc. ASAP
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)
