Yeah the area between Covent Garden up to Liecester Square is full of bars, go past Liecester Square up to Soho for more bars, and other forms of entertainment. I recommend Raymonds Review Bar. The drinks are expensive put its worth it for the view

For curry go to Brick Lane nr Liverpool St Station. Its a street full of Indian's (although most of them are run by Bangledeshi people) Some of them are excellent.
